NCMFAA MEETING

October 7, 2009

The meeting was called to order at 7:01 p.m. by President Jim Rodenberg. 

Board of Directors present: Bruce Gould, Bob Dewey, Mark Silvis

Officers present: President: Jim Rodenberg, Vice President Roger Morrill, Treasurer: Anna Klennert, Secretary: Bill Boucher.

Secretary’s report:  Motion made by Rick Hipsag to approve the minutes Seconded by Bruce Gould: Motion carried.
Treasures Report:
  Motion made to approve the monthly report by Milt Blum, Seconded by Gary Burns: with an ending balance of $22,691.54. Motion carried.

Old Business: 

1.    Bob Dewey and Roger Pride will take a look at the horizontal boiler that was donated by Tom Mock, to see what it will take to move it to the show grounds.

2.   
Final totals of this years show $19,186.87-If members what a breakdown please contact Anna Klennert.

3.    Siding is being added to the school house.

New Business: 

1.    Vicki Houg will check pricing on plastic tables and chairs for the club.

2.    Dick Willie has been mowing over by the campground.  Thanks Dick!

3.    Jim Rodenberg ordered LP gas for the winter. Thanks Jim!

4.    Jim Rickle has looked into hats for the club.  If 100 hats are ordered they will run $4 each if they are embroidered they will be $6. Zelda will also do some checking on caps.

5.    Eunice requested a dinner bell for the club. Jim Rickle will donate a dinner bell. Thanks Jim!

6.    Milt Blum donated a wet grinding stone.  Thanks Milt!

7.    Jean Pride will be the new club historian. Thanks Jean!

8.    Eunice Rodenberg will buy a bulletin board for the club.

9.    Gary Burns made a motion to purchase a safe deposit box. Seconded by John Howery. Motion carried.

10. Club members need to be looking for a raffle tractor for next year.

11. A committee has been formed to nominate 2010 officers and one board member.  The members are Chairman Rick Hipsag, Mark Klennert, Libby Johnson, Vicki Houg, and Steve Houg.

12. Mark Lofgren shared that the draft horse club donated $400 to sand blast and prime the horse powered hay press that Duane Barrow donated to the club.  Mark will paint it red and green when it is done.

13. A committee has been formed for the Auction and Flea market.  Members are Chairman Bruce Gould, Zelda Gould, Mark Lofgren, John Howery, Dale Mostoller, and Libby Johnson.

Cook Books 

The cookbooks are here and are available for $10.00 they can be purchased from any of the committee members and they will be available at the meetings and any functions we are taking part in, or give any of us a call.

We think they make great Christmas gifts and are very reasonable at $10.00 each. 

Zelda and I sold 14 during at a bazaar in Blackberry recently, if you’re planning on going somewhere and think you might be able to sell a few please let us know and we will get you the books.
